1958
West Valley Construction is incorporated in Los Gatos, California by founders Dewain Azevedo, Charles Frybarger, and Chet Miller.
1971
The company moves its headquarters from Los Gatos to its current location in Campbell, CA.
1982
West Valley becomes one of the first construction companies in California to offer an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
1985
West Valley installs 100 miles of fiber-optic cable through the scenic Feather River Canyon in Plumas County in Northern California.
1989
West Valley responds to the Loma Prieta Earthquake by repairing hundreds of broken pipelines and working nonstop to maintain water service.
2000
West Valley establishes its own in-house design- build division to provide superior cost efficiencies for its clients.
2008
West Valley celebrates its 50th anniversary.
2010
WVC completed installation of 40,000 ft. of water main under Job Order Contract/Design Build in nine months.
2011
West Valley ranked #6 utility contractor in the U.S. and is named one of the nation’s top 600 Specialty Contractors by Engineering News-Record.
